The Betsie River offers an exhilarating kayaking experience, perfect for adventure seekers. This clean, spring-fed river flows from Green Lake to Betsie Lake, spanning 54 miles. It features narrow, winding pathways with quick turns, overhanging branches, and submerged logs, presenting a thrilling challenge.
Kayakers will encounter Class I and II rapids that require skillful navigation and quick reflexes. The average depth ranges from 2-3 feet, with faster currents adding to the excitement.
This trip is ideal for experienced paddlers looking for a new challenge.
Be prepared for the unpredictable nature of the river, as water levels and obstacles vary seasonally. With a 25% tip-over rate, expect to get wet. Safety gear is essential, and age restrictions apply.
The meeting for registration will take place at the Campground Office, following transportation to the drop-off location will be provided via shuttle. The conclusion of your river trip will be at the Campground boat launch.

Awesome! What a great idea and costs nothing! I have a HUGE maple tree in my backyard. Cant wait to make these roses next Fall. I think they would be even prettier combined with berries from beauty bush, early hollies and maybe some Fall seed pods from other flowers/plants.
